Ashgabat public organization Ýaş Tebigatçy (“Young Naturalist”) yesterday summed up the results of the photo competition “Messengers of Spring through the Lens of Young Naturalists.”
The winner of the competition was 8-year-old Margarita Samsonova from Ashgabat. As a reward, she received a photo session with the famous Ashgabat videographer Sergei Mirzoev, as well as a diploma and a memorable gift.
The competition, dedicated to the beauty of awakening nature, brought together many talented photographs taken by children aged 7 to 18 years. The jury of the competition included professional photographers, artists and teachers.
Leyli Shyhmadova, head of the public organization “Young Naturalist” noted:
“We are very glad that our competition has aroused such interest among children and youth. This suggests that the young residents of our country are not indifferent to the beauty of nature and want to treat it with care. We hope that our competition will become an annual event and serve as a good tradition.
