What festive events will be held in Turkmenistan in January 2024

In January 2024, Turkmenistan will host celebrations and events dedicated to the New Year, the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi and other significant dates.

As Deputy Prime Minister Myahrijemal Mammedova announced at a Government meeting, forums, meetings, exhibitions, concerts and song and music celebrations will be held in the velayats, Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag, TDH writes.

It is planned to hold sports competitions among the country's universities and sum up the results of previously announced creative competitions.

New Year's events for children are also planned in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the Alem Cultural and Entertainment Center, in front of the State Circus, near the Christmas trees in the festive squares of the velayats and the city of Arkadag.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to properly prepare for the events of January 2024 and in this regard gave specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
