Wednesday Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Liquefied Gas For $520.8/ton

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) registered 16 deals worth $4.1 million for the export of Turkmen liquefied gas.

The deals were agreed at $520.8/ton, a 5.4% increase compared to the previous auction, the SCRMET announced on Thursday.

Particularly, the Afghan companies purchased 6.7 thousand tons of liquefied gas, while the Uzbek businesses bought 260.4 tons of the product. Similar deals were concluded by business circles of Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

For the domestic market, the Turkmen businesses concluded 4 deals for the purchase of Turkmen hand-made carpets for 21.5 thousand manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $48.86 million.
