Vladimir Putin supported the initiative to hold a motorcycle race around the Caspian Sea

In October 2022, the international motor rally "The Caspian Sea - the Sea of Friendship" will take place. The route will pass through the territory of all five Caspian states - Russia, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

This was announced during a press conference by the governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin, writes ast-news.ru.

Presumably, the motorcycle race will take place from October 5 to October 15, with a start in Astrakhan and a finish in Dagestan. According to Babushkin, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin personally supported the idea of holding a motorcycle race.

It is also noted that the governor of the Astrakhan region will join the participants of the run on his own motorcycle.
