Vladimir Putin congratulated Erdogan on his 70th birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his 70th birthday during a telephone conversation.

According to the administration of the Turkish leader, Putin and Erdogan held telephone conversations, during which the Russian President expressed congratulations on the occasion of the birthday of his Turkish colleague.

Putin thanked Erdogan for his contribution to the development of friendly relations between Russia and Türkiye.

Earlier, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also addressed Erdogan with congratulations.

The head of Turkmenistan awarded the Turkish leader the title “Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan” in honor of his anniversary.
