Veterans to Receive Gifts for 79th Great Victory Anniversary

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, veterans will receive valuable gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

As reported by Turkmenistan's official media, preparations for the celebration of the 79th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 were announced during a regular online government meeting on Friday by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Nurmuhammet Amannepesov.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that Turkmenistan demonstrates comprehensive care for war veterans, who defended a peaceful and prosperous life for future generations in battles, including efforts to protect and restore their health.

Amannepesov emphasized that important socio-political and cultural events are planned to celebrate Victory Day, and on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, veterans will be presented with financial support and valuable gifts in a ceremonial atmosphere.

The Head of State instructed to present valuable gifts to war veterans and mothers who worked in our country during the war years on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, directing to ensure that all planned events are conducted at a high level.
