USAID Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan

July 10, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan — On July 7, USAID’s Country Representative to Turkmenistan Nino Nadiradze and Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Dovran Hudayberdiyev signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to strengthen the private sector to enhance economic growth and prosperity in Turkmenistan.

The MoU provides a basis for collaboration between the two parties to increase competitiveness, expand exports of private sector products and services, and improve the investment climate. In addition, this MoU underlines USAID’s steadfast support for the economic empowerment of women and youth, as well as the promotion of digitalization, e-commerce and innovations in the business sector.
