US will lift mandatory covid vaccination requirement for travelers

From May 12, the United States will cancel the mandatory vaccination against coronavirus for foreigners, TASS reports.

The removal of mandatory COVID vaccinations will also affect federal employees and contractors.

Also, the US Department of Health and Human Services and the US Department of Homeland Security are preparing to eliminate vaccination requirements for early childhood educators, health care workers working on health care programs for the elderly and those in need of Medicare and Medicaid.

The requirement for vaccination against covid in the United States was introduced in November 2021. Only vaccines approved by the government and the World Health Organization were valid in the United States.
