Up to half a million Dutch roses are grown annually in the farming of the western region of Turkmenistan

Nurly meýdan, an individual enterprise located in Bereket, Balkan velayat, has been cultivating Dutch roses since 2014. The entire volume of flower production is focused on the domestic market, annually it is up to half a million roses.

And now a batch of these flowers is being prepared for shipment to retail outlets and specialty stores in Ashgabat and other cities of the country for Independence Day.

As reported in the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, the flower greenhouse occupies one hectare and is equipped with advanced imported equipment. Under the arches of the greenhouse there is a unique system of "artificial fog", conceived as a means of regulating the humidity of air flows. Fog is needed for sustainable plant growth.

The oldest employee of the greenhouse agronomist Anna Birchenko says:

Dozens of people work within a multidisciplinary farm under the guidance of an experienced entrepreneur Nuryagda Yagmyrov. Another, the main profile of the sole proprietor, is a poultry farm.
