The information book dedicated to the 15th anniversary of its establishment was published by the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA).
The title of the publication is "The United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia: 15 years of activity in the region". It displays the activities of the Center for the entire period of existence, provides information on leadership, mandate and priority areas of work.
According to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the collection includes materials on the creation of multilateral cooperation platforms in the region. These include: the Dialogue of Women Leaders, the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy, the Task Force on Legal Aspects of Water and Energy Cooperation among the Central Asian States and others.
The collection also provides information on cooperation with other UN structures, in particular, in the field of counter-terrorism activities, on the experience of cooperation with the strategic research institutions of the Central Asian countries, as well as on various projects and other activities.
The Resolution of the UN General Assembly “The role of the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia”, adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan on April 16, 2021, is of great importance for further strengthening the capacity and international legal framework of the Regional Center.
