UNICEF donated 132,000 US dollars worth of hand disinfection dispensers to Turkmenistan

During October, the UNICEF Country Office donated 5,400 hand sanitizer dispensers to the government of Turkmenistan to support effective infection control and hygiene measures as part of the National Acute Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response Plan.

3,400 dispensers were provided to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, 2,000 non-contact hand sanitizers were provided to the Ministry of Education of the country.

Dispensers totaling 132,000 US dollars will be further distributed to medical institutions and secondary schools throughout Turkmenistan, UNICEF reports on its social networks.

We previously reported that UNICEF donated 200,000 US dollars worth of surgical masks to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
