The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan, together with Turkmenportal, conducted training on inclusive communication for employees and volunteers of the “Yenme” organization. The event was held on June 24 at the UN building in Ashgabat.
The training was aimed at teaching participants the skills to promote inclusion and diversity in the work of “Yenme” through the use of modern communication practices. The program included learning social media strategies, creating gender-sensitive content and covering topics related to people with disabilities.
Participants were introduced to key documents on inclusion, including the UN Strategy for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities and the UNDP Strategy for Gender Equality.
