UN technical mission assessed the development of the new city of Arkadag

A UN technical mission visited Turkmenistan to visit, review and evaluate the development of the new administrative center of the Ahal velayat, the city of Arkadag.

On Saturday, the meeting of the deputy heads of ministries and departments of the country with representatives of the UN mission was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, expressed her gratitude to the UN representatives for accepting the offer to visit and assess the city of Arkadag. Conviction was expressed that the visit was fruitful.

Representatives of the UN technical mission, who spoke, highly appreciated the city of Arkadag and noted that the facilities built here correspond to advanced standards and current realities in terms of environmental friendliness, safety and manufacturability.

The parties agreed to provide elements of a roadmap for the implementation of the recommendations made during the technical mission, reports the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
