Ukraine Ready to Develop Cooperation With Turkmenistan in Education Sector

On August 9, 2024, Ambassador Toyly Atayev met with Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Cooperation of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Zarif Nazyrov at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine.

The Vice-Rector of the University spoke about the structure and activities of one of the leading universities in Ukraine, aimed, among other things, at developing international education, as well as about the features of organizing the educational process, the basic principles of the institution and international programs, where the Vice-Rector focused on the introduction of double degree programs with a number of foreign universities in various educational areas.

The Vice-Rector of the University noted that previously the contingent of Turkmen students at the University was quite large, so Karazin University is interested in increasing the number of applicants from Turkmenistan and is ready to intensify cooperation in this direction.

During the meeting, the Parties also discussed the possibilities of exchanging modern knowledge and experience, organizing intercultural communication, and prospects for developing bilateral cooperation between higher education institutions.
