Tycoon Bernard Arnault is the richest man in the world

Forbes has again presented the list of the richest people on the planet, writes “MIR 24”.In the first place was Bernard Arnault, the head of the LVMH group and the owner of such brands as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Moët & Chandon and several others.

Arnault's fortune is estimated at 211 billion dollars.Moreover, back in 2022, Arnault was only in the third line of the rating, having a fortune of 158 billion.

Elon Musk is in second place with 180 billion USD. He, unlike Arnault, has seriously impoverished over the past year - in 2022, his fortune was equal to 219 billion USD. Last year, after Musk bought “Twitter”, shares of his Tesla company fell by 65%.

Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, moved from second (according to the results of last year) to third position, he currently has 171 billion USD.

The top “five” richest people in the world also include Oracle founder Larry Ellison (107 billion USD) and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett (106 billion USD).
