Two voting stations will be opened in Turkmenistan for the presidential elections in Iran

Polling stations for voting in the presidential elections of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) will be opened in two cities of Turkmenistan Ashgabat and Mary. This was reported by the Iranian diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.

Voting will be held on Friday, June 28. Polling stations will be open from 8:00 to 18:00. Iranian citizens living in Turkmenistan will be able to vote at the Iranian Embassy in Ashgabat or at the Consulate General in the city of Mary.

It Is planned to organize mobile bins at border terminals for Iranian drivers. Accurate information about this will be published on the website and social networks of the Iranian Embassy.

Voters must have proof of their identity with them.

Early presidential elections in Iran are being held in connection with the tragic death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash on May 19, 2024.
