Chairman of the “Turkmensvyaz” Agency (Türkmenaragatnaşyk) Hajimyrat Hudaygulyev met with a delegation of the Chinese company JD.com Incorporation, engaged in online retail trade, according to the agency’s official website.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation, in particular, the introduction of e-commerce and modern technologies in the telecommunications sector of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in JD.com’s advanced solutions in the field of online trading and digital technologies.
Participants noted the importance of establishing partnerships with major market players for the development of the ICT sector of Turkmenistan. Negotiations with JD.com Incorporation are expected to deepen cooperation in the field of e-commerce and technology.
The meeting of the parties took place within the framework of the XVI International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Turkmentel-2023”.
