Turkmenistan will take part in the Central Asian eSports Championship

The Turkmenistan eSports team is preparing for the upcoming Central Asian Championship, which will be held this summer in Uzbekistan.

The team will compete in such disciplines as PUBG Mobile, eFootball, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2, writes IIC.

According to the Chairman of the Electronic Sports Federation of Turkmenistan Nazar Udeumuradov, the country is showing good results in the international arena, despite the relative youth of e-sports in the region.

Turkmenistan is the founder of the eSports movement in Central Asia - it is the first country in the region to create the National Electronic Sports Federation.

Turkmen cybersportsmen are trained using advanced technologies. Players are monitored by coaches, a psychologist and a physical training specialist to keep athletes in optimal shape.
