Turkmenistan will participate in the World Exhibition “EXPO-2025”, which will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025 in the city of Osaka (Japan) under the motto “Creating the society of the future for our lives”.
Today this was reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, announced the news TV program “Watan” of Turkmenistan.
As Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev reported, in the context of organizational measures carried out with the Japanese side, it is expected that the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan will be built in the section “Expanding Social Opportunities”.
In this regard, it is planned to announce a competition among domestic specialized companies for the selection of projects for the construction of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at “EXPO-2025”.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov after listening to the report noted that such reviews open up great opportunities for demonstrating the achievements of the Motherland, its export potential, sharing experience, and resolving issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
As the head of state emphasized, when designing the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan, original solutions should be used, which would reflect the primordial traditions of national architecture.
Noting the positive experience gained in this regard and the need for its systematic enrichment, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under constant control the work to ensure a high organizational level of participation of Turkmenistan in the prestigious international show.
Expo is an international exhibition, which is a symbol of industrialization and an open platform for demonstrating technical and technological achievements. The last exhibition was held in 2021-2022 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
