President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputies of the Mejlis to discuss with the population of the country the issue of determining the motto and emblem of 2025, which, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, was declared by the UN as the International Year of Peace and Trust, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The head of state emphasized that, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, the Resolution “International Year of Peace and Trust, 2025” was adopted at the 63rd plenary meeting of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In this regard, he noted that numerous international events are planned to be held in 2025 both in Turkmenistan and in other countries of the world.
It is worth noting that the current 2024 year is held under the motto “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, and the previous 2023 year was marked by the motto “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”.
On November 8, Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the government's work for the first ten months of the current year were reviewed and priority tasks for the country's socio-economic development were discussed.
