The National Flag of the country was installed on the territory of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan, which will be built as part of the World Expo 2025 in the Japanese city of Osaka, reported the official website of the “Business Advertising” newspaper of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.
The ceremony was held within the framework of the visit to Japan on November 14-16 of the delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Begench Gochmollayev.
A plot of land for the construction of the National Pavilion was officially allocated to Turkmenistan as the first among all countries participating in EXPO 2025, and the country was the first to plant its National Flag on the territory of the World Exhibition - the artificial island of Yumeshima.
The leaders of the Japan Association of the World Expo 2025 and the contractor who will build the Turkmenistan pavilion, Belli Economic Society, also took part in the flag installation ceremony.
