Turkmenistan was represented at the international youth forum in Tashkent

Children from Turkmenistan took part in the international forum “Children and Youth in Action Climate Change in Central Asia”, which was held in the capital of Uzbekistan.

According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the forum was organized by the Zamin Foundation together with UNICEF and the relevant ministries of Uzbekistan.

The event was also attended by the First Lady of Türkiye Emine Erdogan, the wife of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Jamile Alamolhoda, the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aygul Japarova, representatives of international and regional organizations.

The purpose of the forum was to highlight the significant role of children and youth in combating the consequences of climate change, including through the promotion of environmental education, the source notes.
