Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan Trade Turnover Hits $263.4 Million

The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan amounted to $263.4 million in January-March 2023, Uzbekistan’s State Committee of Statistics reported.

According to a report published on Thursday, in the first three months of 2023, Uzbekistan's imports from Turkmenistan amounted to $218.4 million. During the same period, the country's exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $45.1 million.

The total volume of foreign trade of Uzbekistan in January-March 2023 amounted to $14.8 billion and increased by $1.6 billion or 11.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

The volume of trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to $59.6 million in January-February 2023.
