During the negotiations between Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports Serdar Atayev and Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the State Committee Shamurad Serayev with the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al Hameli, issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of sports were discussed.
This was reported by the press service of the UAE Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan has laid a solid foundation for international sports cooperation; interaction in this area with more than 60 countries of the world is regulated on a bilateral legal basis.
In addition, issues of sports partnership find a worthy place in declarations and statements of heads of state adopted following visits at the highest level, as well as in the final documents of intergovernmental commissions on the development of bilateral cooperation with foreign countries.
