Turkmenistan took part in the energy investment forum of the CAREC program

A delegation of Turkmenistan led by the country's Deputy Minister of Energy Serdar Saparov took part in the energy investment forum within the framework of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program on November 28-29 in Tbilisi. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia reports this.

The forum was organized by the Asian Development Bank and the Government of Georgia. It discussed issues of energy development in the region, in particular new investment projects, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

The Turkmen side spoke about the implementation of specific projects for the development of the energy industry within the framework of the national program for 2021-2025. It was noted that Turkmenistan is pursuing a policy aimed at ensuring stable supplies of energy resources to consumers in the region.

Participants in the CAREC program highly appreciated Turkmenistan's plans to increase energy exports and diversify export routes.
