Turkmenistan took part in the 20th session of the UNIDO General Conference

The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Prime Minister for Industry Baymyrat Annamammedov, took part in the 20th session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), held in the capital of Austria, reports the IIC.

Speaking at events in Vienna, members of the Turkmen delegation told the general public about the principles that Turkmenistan adheres to in its industrial development and informed about the work to implement the assigned tasks.

As noted, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to continuing cooperation with the United Nations and its agencies in a number of areas, including combating climate change and ensuring environmental safety.

In this regard, it is planned to implement the Strategy for the Development of Low-Carbon Energy within the framework of the UN and international projects for the development of hydrogen energy.
