Turkmenistan took part in discussions of national policies in the field of human trafficking

Representatives of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, as well as relevant state bodies took part in the Regional seminar "Strengthening national policies in the field of human trafficking".

According to the Service's website, the seminar was held in a hybrid format from May 26 to 27 at the UN building in Ashgabat within the framework of the UNODC Program for Central Asian countries.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the best practices in the formation of national policies in the field of combating human trafficking.

International experts facilitated the analysis of legislation on human trafficking in the EU and CIS countries, and procedures for identifying victims of human trafficking and providing them with support were also discussed.
