Turkmenistan to Host International Oil and Gas Forum

Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat will host the 27th International Conference Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022 (OGT-2022) on October 27-29.

The conference is organized by Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas), Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) and Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) state concerns, Türkmengeologiýa (Turkmen Geology) State Corporation in partnership with Turkmen Forum and UK-based GaffneyCline, Turkmen Forum said in its press release.

The international scientific conference will bring together leading experts, researchers and experts in the field of energy to share experience and research results on all aspects of reducing emissions into the environment and green energy technologies, according to the statement.

The forum, which will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, will feature discussions on such topics as global trends in the development of the fuel and energy sector, implementation of regional project, including the TAPI gas pipeline, and attracting investment in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea and prospects for gas chemical projects.

The meeting is expected to be attended by the leaders of the energy industry of Turkmenistan, representatives of government agencies, leading international organizations, major international financial institutions.

The event will be held in both traditional and online formats.
