Turkmenistan to Host International Oil and Gas Exhibition

International exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022" will kick off in Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat on October 26 in conjunction with the international conference of the same title, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Wednesday with reference to the event organizers.

The exhibition is organized by Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas), Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) state concerns, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in partnership with Turkmen Forum company.

It will present the best achievements of Turkmen and international oil and gas industries, new ideas for the development of the hydrocarbon sector, innovative technologies in oil production and transportation of energy, the provision of storage systems of hydrocarbons, services, as well as ongoing and future oil and gas projects in the Central Asian region.

One of the main objectives of the upcoming exhibition is to expand cooperation between national and international oil companies.

Over 40 foreign and Turkmen companies will take part in the exhibition. The world’s leading oil and gas companies, such as Dragon Oil, Petronas, CNPC, TATNEFT, ENI, and Schlumberger, will present their stands to raise the visitors' awareness of new investment projects in the oil, gas, energy and petrochemical industries of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition will also provide a platform to hold meetings with senior executives of Turkmenistan's oil-gas sector and B2B talks. The meetings can be held online and in the traditional format.

The international conference OGT-2022, which will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, will feature discussions on such topics as global trends in the development of the fuel and energy sector, implementation of regional project, including the TAPI gas pipeline, and attracting investment in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea and prospects for gas chemical projects.
