Turkmenistan to Develop New Anti-Corruption Program For 2025-2029

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced plans to create a National Anti-Corruption Program for 2025-2029 during a meeting of the State Security Council on Wednesday, as reported by official media.

Prosecutor General Begmurat Muhamedov delivered a report on the activities of the prosecutor’s office over the past ten months, emphasizing the oversight of law enforcement and the implementation of digital technologies.

President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of strengthening adherence to the law and tasked the relevant authorities with creating a new anti-corruption program in accordance with international legal standards.

"The project for the National Anti-Corruption Program in Turkmenistan for 2025-2029 should adhere to universally accepted norms of international law," stated the head of government.

The meeting also reviewed the performance of military and law enforcement agencies over the past ten months, discussing national security, maintaining peace, and enhancing the capabilities of security forces
