Turkmenistan to Construct New Residential Buildings

Turkmenistan plans to construct residential buildings totaling 430,000 square meters in 2024, the Balkan newspaper reported on Thursday.

This year, the country also aims to build 5,360 general education institutions and 1,200 preschool facilities.

As per the report, the construction of residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens will be carried out in line with the "Turkmenistan Socio-Economic Development and Investment Program for 2024."

During a recent online session on Friday, Mammethan Chakyyev, the General Director of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, reported on the progress of the construction of the Communication Center administrative building in the city of Turkmenbashi, Balkan province.
