Turkmenistan to Auction 47 State Properties

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan announced an auction to sell 47 state properties.

The list of state property to be privatised was published in Wednesday's edition of Neytralnyi Turkmenistan newspaper. The auction will be held on December 15 on the digital state property auction platform at www.е.fineconomic.gov.tm and through the platform's mobile application.

Among the most significant properties to be auctioned are the former building of the Amyderya trading company in the Koytendag district of Lebap province with an area of 3 thousand 512.8 square meters, the Döwrebap shopping and leisure centre located in the same province (8 thousand 800 square meters), the pipe factory in Dashoguz province (6 thousand 400 square meters) and the office building of Nur Zaman economic society located in Ashgabat (4 thousand 300 square meters).

Service facilities will also be auctioned, including stores, cafes, canteens, health centres, administrative buildings and production facilities.

Citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign nationals, and non-governmental legal entities of Turkmenistan and other countries are allowed to participate in the auction following the procedure established by the legislation.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy's Department of Property Relations and Enterprise Support and specialised entities of the provincial and Ashgabat city departments of finance and economy consult on the procedure for participating in the auction and provide additional information on the objects for privatisation.

All auction participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the information about the object of privatisation beforehand. The sale of state objects is carried out with all obligations.
