The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced an auction for the sale of 41 state-owned properties.
A list of assets slated for privatization was published on Wednesday in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper. The auction is set to take place on November 15, 2024, through a digital government property auction platform and its mobile application.
Among the prominent properties up for auction are a brick workshop located in the village of Hendekli in Berzen, Dayhan district of Lebap province, covering 3,967 square meters; the Döwrebap shopping and entertainment center (8,800 sq m); a two-story building in Lebap province; and a pipe factory in Dashoguz province (6,400 sq m).
The auction will also feature a variety of service sector properties, including stores, cafes, dining facilities, administrative buildings, and manufacturing sites.
According to established regulations, Turkmen citizens, foreign nationals, and non-state legal entities from Turkmenistan and other countries are eligible to participate in the auction.
