Turkmenistan Sets New Procedure For Land Ownership, Use, Lease

To ensure rational and efficient use of the country's land resources and regulate land relations, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a resolution approving the procedure for processing, registering, and issuing documents for allocating land plots for ownership, use, and lease.

The resolution also includes regulations for the State Commission on Land Issues, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.

The Ministry of Agriculture has been instructed to prepare and submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers within a month, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, for amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution.
