Turkmenistan Sends Another Batch of Aid to Türkiye’s Earthquake Victims

National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan sent 100 mattresses and 60 heaters to the victims of the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye, Anadolu Agency reported on Thursday with reference to the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat.

According to the report, so far a total of 6,971 blankets, 100 mattresses, 20 generators, 60 heaters, 6 mobile toilets, 11 tons of clothing, 44 tons of medical supplies and 67 tons of food products have been delivered to the earthquake victims as a result of the campaigns organized by National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat.

Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral stated that Turkmenistan will continue to send humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu has raised the number of fatalities in Türkiye from the earthquakes on February 6 to 43,556, as per AP.

Another 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Türkiye’s Hatay province on Monday.
