Turkmenistan’s UIET to Hold International Conference

Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), in co-organization with TMT Consulting Group, will hold an online international conference in Ashgabat on June 28 on the topic “The Role of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the Development of Business and Cooperation”, the UIET reported on its official website on Friday.

The forum is aimed at increasing the contribution of the public association of industrialists, entrepreneurs and commodity producers of Turkmenistan in the implementation of economic policy, contributing to the growth of business and investment activity in the country, the establishment of mutually beneficial economic relations with foreign partners, according to the announcement.

The forum participants will discuss current areas of interaction with government organizations and institutions, foreign companies and financial circles in the implementation of infrastructure projects and national socio-economic programs.

The program of the forum includes two parallel sections. The first one will focus on the prospects for entrepreneurship in the construction and industrial sectors of Turkmenistan and the other section will be devoted to the development of the country's transport and logistics system and the agro-industrial complex.

Established in 2008, the UIET unites over 25 thousand businesses working in different sectors of the economy.
