Turkmenistan's President Participates in Bagtyýarlyk Water Treatment Facility Opening

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov participated in a ceremonial event on Wednesday to inaugurate the new Bagtyýarlyk water treatment facility with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters of water per day.

According to official media reports in Turkmenistan, the construction of the facility was carried out in accordance with the relevant decree of the Head of State.

The water source for the facility is an open reservoir with a volume of one million cubic meters, located on the right bank of the Garagum River.

Water samples taken at the facility and analyzed in accredited laboratories comply with Turkish standards, international standards, and World Health Organization standards.
