President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council Eric Stuart in Ashgabat on Thursday, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.
During the meeting, Eric Stuart affirmed the US business community's commitment to furthering productive ties with Turkmenistan, which boasts substantial economic potential.
The Head of State expressed confidence that Stuart's current visit to Ashgabat would provide a valuable opportunity to discuss prospective areas of collaboration and wished for fruitful negotiations.
President Berdimuhamedov also acknowledged the contributions of American companies in effectively utilizing the economic opportunities in Turkmenistan, noting that major corporations such as Boeing, General Electric, John Deere, and Case New Holland have been implementing significant projects in Turkmenistan for many years.
Furthermore, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan's eagerness to enhance effective cooperation with US companies and expressed readiness to consider specific proposals from the Business Council.
In expressing deep gratitude to the Head of State for the trust bestowed, Stuart reiterated the US business community's commitment to strengthening its position in the promising Turkmen market and participating in the implementation of new joint projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Eric Stuart exchanged warm wishes, expressing confidence that bilateral economic partnership, drawing on years of positive experience, would continue to dynamically evolve on a mutually beneficial long-term basis.
