Turkmenistan’s Lebapgazçykaryş Exports 2 bcm of Natural Gas to China

Lebapgazçykaryş Management of Türkmengaz State Concern, the national natural gas company of Turkmenistan, in the first three months of 2022 shipped the bulk of its output more than 2 billion cubic meters (bcm) to China.

The Lebapgazçykaryş’s total natural gas output in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 3.183 bcm, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

In the January-March period, The Management operating in Turkmenistan’s eastern province also produced 14 thousand tons to gas condensate.

Last year, Lebapgazçykaryş Management produced 12.4 bcm of natural gas.

The Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline, launched in December 2009, originates in Lebap province.
