Turkmenistan's international airports accepts wide-body liners from different countries

Turkmenistan is actively developing its aviation infrastructure and cooperating with various foreign airlines. One of these companies is Challenge Airlines, a Belgian cargo airline based in Liege. The company specializes in air cargo transportation in Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa.

On August 8, 2023, a Boeing 747-400F aircraft of Challenge Airlines made its first landing at Ashgabat International Airport. The airline operates cargo flights with landing at Ashgabat International Airport on the routes Ningbo (China) - Ashgabat and Ashgabat - Liege (Belgium)

Ashgabat International Airport is ideal for transit and commercial flights, as well as for refueling and servicing of wide-body airliners. The airport has modern equipment and highly qualified personnel capable of ensuring the safety and efficiency of cargo operations. The airport is also a major cargo and logistics hub in Central Asia.

In addition to Challenge Airlines, Turkmenistan's international airports accept aircraft from other airlines, such as Cargolux Airlines S.A.S, MNG Airlines, Moalem Aviation, Mongolian Airlines and others. This contributes to the development of trade and economic ties of Turkmenistan with the whole world.
