1.An official meeting ceremony was held in Ankara between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the head of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.Within the framework of the negotiations in narrow and expanded formats, the parties discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two fraternal countries, including in the fields of politics, economics, culture, energy, transport, investment and innovation.
2.The total export volume of Turkmenistan for 8 months of 2023 amounted to 7,8 billion US dollars.This was said by the Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rahimberdy Jepbarov, speaking at the international oil and gas conference OGT-2023.
The head of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan also noted that according to a recent report by the rating agency Fitch Ratings, in 2022, Turkmenistan’s external debt amounted to 4,9% of GDP.
3. The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS member countries will be held in May 2024 in Ashgabat. This became known during a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth in Bishkek.
4. In the coming days, a ceremony to lay the groundwork for a new power plant will be held near the city of Turkmenbashi, Balkan velayat. The facility, which local specialists will build together with Turkish colleagues, will open up the opportunity to export electricity to Türkiye through third countries.
5.Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Economic Affairs Hojamyrat Geldimyradov took part in the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of government of Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan.
As a result of the meeting, 14 documents were adopted.
6.The second round of the international competition “Brave Alabai of the Year” was held in Turkmenistan, in which 20 Turkmen Alabais who won the first round took part.
In the second competitive round, each of the Alabais must overcome a number of different obstacles in accordance with the given conditions.The jury also paid special attention to the appearance of the noble animals and their behavior, namely confidence and patience.

7.An exhibition of works by the young artist Maria Mkhitaryan, who is only 6 years old, is being held in Yerevan.The exhibition features 50 works by the girl.
Many of them are dedicated to mom.The young artist prefers bright, pure colors, especially yellow and blue.She is also good at portraits.Maria's paintings were exhibited in Russia, Georgia, Greece and Egypt, and she won her first international competition at the age of 4.
8. Casting for the “New Star Factory” is underway on the TNT channel. The Russian popular music reality show is planned to be revived in 2024.
