Turkmenistan’s Balkan Province Produces Industrial Goods Worth 6.6 Billion Manats

Industrial products worth nearly 6.6 billion manats were produced in Turkmenistan’s western province of Balkan in January-April of 2023, the country’s official media reported on Saturday.

The private sector accounted for about half of the production, according to the report.

The growth rate of industrial production throughout the province neared 128 percent.

Moreover, in January-March 2023, the region's retail trade turnover neared 2.6 billion manats, achieving 109 percent growth.
