Turkmenistan’s Balkan Province Produces Industrial Goods Worth 11.2 Billion Manats

Industrial products worth more than 11.2 billion manats were produced in Turkmenistan’s western province of Balkan in January-July of 2022.

The private sector accounted for about half of the production. The growth rate of industrial production throughout the province neared 128 percent, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.

In the first seven months of this year, retail sales turnover in the province amounted to more than 3.8 billion manats, and the growth rate in this area reached 118 percent. The private sector accounted for the bulk of the retail sales turnover in the province more than 3,4 billion manats.

Turkmenistan aims to increase oil condensate production in Balkan province to 10.6 million tons by 2025.
