Turkmenistan’s Bagtyýar Gurluşyk Looks to Export Its Polypropylene Yarn

Bagtyýar Gurluşyk Economic Society, the Turkmen producer of polypropylene yarn for carpet products, is actively working to export its products.

In an interview with Business Turkmenistan, the company’s representative said the enterprise produces 22 tons of high-quality polypropylene yarn per day. It’s yarns are available in white, black, red, green, blue and gray colors. The company can also produce yarn in the desired color of the customer.

The company purchases raw materials for the production from local enterprises, namely from the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and the Kiyanly polymer plant.

Founded in 2020, Bagtyýar Gurluşyk is located in the industrial zone of Ak Bugday etrap in Ahal velayat. The products they offer fully comply with high international standards, according to the company’s representative.

Polypropylene yarns are widely used to make carpets and floor coverings. Carpets made of polypropylene yarns are distinguished by their durability, wear resistance and environmental friendliness.
