Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, July 12
By Huseyn Hasanov Trend:
Turkmenistan's Ashgabatgas state administration has again circulated a message in which it calls for the careful and economical use of natural gas, Trend reports referring to the state administration.
It is recommended to use a gas stove only with an open window leaf. With long-term continuous operation of gas stoves, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room increases, which may cause poisoning, the information says.
Ashgabatgas also reminds the residents of Ashgabat that it is necessary to observe fire safety rules with utmost caution. It is forbidden to arbitrarily install, reinstall, connect and repair gas appliances.
Payment for consumed gas according to meter readings is made at the rate of 20 Turkmenistan manats (TMT) per 1,000 (one thousand) cubic meters of gas.
Turkmenistan is one of the key suppliers of natural gas in the Caspian region and Central Asia.
