Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Belgium has been appointed head of the diplomatic mission in the Netherlands and Luxembourg at the same time

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium (the city of Brussels) Sapar Begjanovich Palvanov is appointed simultaneously as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Corresponding Decrees were signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, reports the information program “Watan” of the Turkmen television.

Let’s note that the Decree on appointment of Sapar Palvanov as the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Belgium was signed in July 2020. By the Presidential Decree he was awarded a diplomatic rang of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador.

Turkmenistan established diplomatic relations with the Netherlands in May 1992, in October 1992 with Luxemburg.
