On 14 July the executive committee of the Asian Games “Ashgabat-2017 reported that Turkmenistan’ Airlines will become the AIMAG official partners.
“Turkmenkhovaellary” will play an important part in preparations for the Asian Games by providing transportation services and high quality service at Ashgabat airport as well as offering warm Turkmen hospitality to the visitors before their arrival on the Turkmen land”, the chairperson of the executive committee Dayanch Gulgeldiev said.
It should be noted that visitors to the Asian Games are unable to buy tickets for flights operated by Turkmenistan’s Airlines online.On 9 June 2017 it was announced that online sale of tickets in Turkmenistan would be organized in two steps.
However, for the time being the company does not even have its own website.
Malaysia-based oil and gas company PETRONAS, which is operating in Turkmenistan via “Petronas Carigali Sdn bhd”, was appointed the second partner.
It has been reported that LG and Coca-Cola Turkmenistan became the official sponsors of the V Asian Indoor and Marshal Arts Games.
