According to a video footage shown on the Turkmen television on 31 August, the presentation of the book authored by the President “Turkmenistan the heart of the Great Silk Road” in French was held in Turkmenistan.
The day before, on 30 August, CEOs of French companies CIFAL Gilles Rémy and VINCI Construction Grands Projets Alain Bonno presented Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov with his book translated into French as a gift.
The book “Turkmenistan, the heart of the Great Silk Road” is one of the most popular books out of over 40 writings authored by Berdymukhammedov.
It was presented on 9 October 2017.The title of this bestseller became the motto for 2018 with presentations being held in different CIS countries, Europe and Saudi Arabia.
On 10 July the state information agency TDH reported that the President, who had been on holiday, started working on the sequel to his book.
