Turkmenistan recorded stable economic growth in January

At the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the results of the national economy for January were summed up, TDH reports.

As Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported, in January GDP grew by 6.3%. The volume of production increased by 8.2% compared to the same period last year. There was also a significant increase in retail turnover (10.6%), wages (10%) and capital investment (24.6%).

Summing up, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of maintaining positive economic dynamics. He instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take measures to maintain GDP growth rates and balanced development of all sectors of the economy.
