Turkmenistan ranks first in the supply of pipeline gas to China

Turkmenistan is the leader in natural gas supplies to China. According to the results of 11 months of 2022, gas was exported to China for 9,28 billion USD, reports the General Administration of Customs of China.

In accordance with the report, in the second place for the same period is Russia, the volume of deliveries of which amounted to more than 3,54 billion USD. Myanmar is in third place with 1,29 billion USD, Uzbekistan is in fourth place with 1,03 billion USD, followed by Kazakhstan with 1 billion USD.

The source notes that natural gas is supplied to China from Central Asia through three pipelines running along the route Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China.

In addition, there are agreements on the construction of the fourth line of the gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to China.
